Gamescom, the world's largest gaming event now that E3 has left us, is back this week in Cologne, Germany, and it's kicking off with a bang. Geoff Keighley will be hosting Opening Night Live (ONL) to kick off the convention and, hopefully, drop a few surprises and reveals for all of us at home. When Is Gamescom Opening Night Live 2025?
Opening Night Live is scheduled for Tuesday, August 19, 2025. The main show runs for about two hours, starting at the following times across major time zones:
- 11:00 AM PDT (Pacific Daylight Time, US West Coast)
- 2:00 PM EDT (Eastern Daylight Time, US East Coast)
- 7:00 PM BST (British Summer Time, UK)
- 8:00 PM CEST (Central European Summer Time, Germany and much of Europe)
- 4:00 AM AEST (Australian Eastern Standard Time, Sydney – on August 20)

How to Watch Opening Night Live
The great news is that you don't need to be in Cologne to catch the action. Opening Night Live will be streamed live online for free, making it accessible to gamers worldwide. Here's where you can tune in:
